hashtag FreeWilly Picks Up Win Against Big R, Secures Spot in Championship

hashtag FreeWilly registered the highest score of the week and got past Big R 203.60 to 177.24. hashtag FreeWilly has been red-hot in this matchup as of late, winning three straight against Big R. Drew Brees led Big R with 37.15 points (307 Pas Yds, 4 TD) while Saquon Barkley brought in 30.58 (112 Rsh Yds, 31 Rec Yds, 2 TD). To make matters worse, Big R had a starter score zero points (Paul Richardson).



Both teams had a player that left points out on the field. For hashtag FreeWilly, Robert Woods saw a total of nine targets, but was able to reel in just four catches. Kenny Golladay put on a similar showing for Big R, as he was able to snag three passes on seven targets.

With 28 touches this week for Joe Mixon, it means that his touches have now increased in four consecutive games.



For the winners, several players have been getting hot at the right time, including D.J. Moore and Robert Woods. Over the past month, that duo has surpassed their season scoring averages by 49% and 44%, respectively. Despite the loss, Big R had a few players performing their best in the playoffs, most notably Brees and Joe Mixon. During the postseason, that combo has averaged 43.27 and 24.62 points, respectively, topping their season-long marks by 183% and 105%.



Next week, the league championship will be decided when hashtag FreeWilly faces top-seeded McCafe. McCafe is the highest-scoring team this season, averaging 192.43 points per game. Big R wrapped up the regular season in sixth place with a record of 7-6. From a points per game perspective, they ranked slightly better (fifth with 166.02). In their only other postseason game of the season, Big R defeated Favre Dollar Footlong, 222.93 to 169.45.
