Have Fun! This league was created for one purpose… Enjoy Football to its fullest! I understand we all get caught up in the moment or the competition, but keep in mind we play mostly for bragging rights, and this is our league created and sustained by the managers! If anyone has issues or a problem with the league or other managers, please notify myself or the Co-Commissioner (Joe). Please refrain from dropping players or using the message boards as a therapist. All active members of the League are expected to conduct themselves in a manner consistent with that of a Gentleman. This code of ethics includes, but is not limited to: setting your best possible lineup each week; not dropping players out of anger, frustration, or resentment; not partaking in collusion of any sort; Etc. We all play a part in the league, and I look forward to the years to come! Thank you! For your participation and support! A violation of this code of ethics can result in either a fine, not to exceed game/week suspension for the Year, or in severe or repetitive cases, removal from the League. Any active member can report a violation to the panel of trustees who will investigate and discuss the case, making sure to hear from all affected parties and will then rule on the verdict.
Fantasy Scoring is based on actual football statistics. Game stats are noted, complied and communicated to sports media by officials at the stadium, then reflect online, where they are tabulated for fantasy teams to determine the outcome of fantasy games. NFL.com Fantasy only features head-to-head scoring, where each team is matched up against one other team within a league each week.
Setting Your Roster
Setting your fantasy roster is one of the most important aspects of both Fantasy Football and FFFFL! Setting your roster is something every manager should be diligent about doing week to week! Roster Setting or deciding which players scores will count and which will not for weekly matchup, takes place in MY TEAM. A player whose score will count is called a “starter”
Or in the “Starting lineup”. To place him there is to “start” him. A player whose score will not count is referred to as “on the bench” or “sat”. To place him there is to “sit” him. NFL-Managed Leagues also feature a starting flex position (Wide Receiver/Running Back). This allows you to start either a third Running Back or Wide Receiver each week, giving each team owner a chance to use their own personal strategy each week. This roster position is designated by a W/R on your starting lineup – any eligible Wide Receiver or Running Back may be started in this slot.
