With Their Top Guns Doing the Heavy Lifting, Big R Rips Apart DirtyBird38

WEEK 8 RECAP: TUESDAY EDITION

Led by the trio of Drew Brees, Mike Evans, and Andy Dalton, Big R overwhelmed DirtyBird38 215.86 to 128.98. That threesome combined to record 96.97 points, substantially more than the top scorers from DirtyBird38 (Carson Wentz, the Seattle Seahawks DEF, and Dan Bailey), who totaled 57.48 points. Brees also recorded his highest point total of the season, with Evans tallying the highest point total of the week at his position. Big R had their top score of the season, as well as the second-biggest margin of victory in the league. Adding insult to injury, DirtyBird38 got zero points from Brandin Cooks. DirtyBird38 (4-4, 1,375.75 points) drops to sixth place, while Big R (4-4, 1,363.30 points) remains in seventh place.

Bell had plenty of opportunities for DirtyBird38, but could only manage 35 total yards on 12 touches.

Since Brees was the high scorer for Big R, it means that a different player has now led the team in each of the last six weeks. With 37.83 points, Mike Evans paced the squad in Week 3, while Kenny Golladay (20.08 points) was team-leader in Week 4 and the Eagles Defense (50.69 points) led the way in Week 5. Dak Prescott (26.88 points) was tops in Week 6 and the Rams Defense (35.03 points) led in Week 7.

Big R meets Primetime Playmakers (5-3, 1,389.09) next week. DirtyBird38 plays McCafe (6-2, 1,538.68), who sits in first place.
