Primetime Playmakers Gets Comeback over McCafe, Rises to 5th Place



WEEK 12 RECAP: TUESDAY EDITION




Primetime Playmakers got 33.79 points from Leonard Fournette (97 Rsh Yds, 62 Rec Yds, 2 TD) and 24.58 from Jimmy Garoppolo (253 Pas Yds, 2 TD), taking down McCafe 163.37 to 139.49. Primetime Playmakers came into the Monday night game facing a 1.05-point deficit, but scored 24.93 for the comeback victory. Primetime Playmakers goes to 1-1 this season against McCafe, avenging a Week 3 loss (201.53 to 156.15) the last time the teams met. This is the third straight week McCafe has scored less than their previous week's point total. They got 214.45 points two weeks ago, 194.05 last week, and 139.49 points this week. Adding insult to injury, McCafe had a starter score zero points (Matt Gay). Primetime Playmakers (7-5, 2,030.47 points) climbs into fifth place. McCafe, despite the loss, clinches a playoff spot this week (first place, 9-3, 2,317.08 points).



There was a player on both teams that had plenty of chances but missed out on opportunities. On the winning side, Aaron Jones got 13 touches but only tallied 38 total yards, while Josh Jacobs managed just 36 yards on 11 touches for McCafe.



While Jimmy Garoppolo led Primetime Playmakers in Week 11 with 40.88 points, Fournette paved the way this week with 33.79.



Next week, Primetime Playmakers goes up against the last-place team in the league, LAZYPANDUHH (1-11, 1,709.88). McCafe gets Scruffy Looking Turf Herders (5-7, 2,147.90), who has averaged a solid 178.99 points this season.
