Powered by Their Big Three, McCafe Rips Apart DirtyBird38

WEEK 9 RECAP: TUESDAY EDITION

Led by the trio of Russell Wilson, Christian McCaffrey, and Kyler Murray, McCafe overwhelmed DirtyBird38 230.41 to 150.93. That threesome combined to score 122.45 points, winning the battle against Baker Mayfield, Derrick Henry, and Carson Wentz (73.21 combined points), the top three on DirtyBird38. Wilson passed for five touchdowns, adding 50.33 points (378 Pas Yds, 1 2PT, 5 TD). McCaffrey delivered three touchdowns to contribute 41.42 points (146 Rsh Yds, 2 Rsh TD, 1 Rec TD), while Murray pitched in 30.70 points (241 Pas Yds, 34 Rsh Yds, 1 2PT, 2 TD). Wilson also recorded the highest point total in the league this week, with McCaffrey tallying the second-highest point total in the league this week. McCafe had the best score of the week, as well as the third-largest margin of victory in the league this season. To make matters worse, DirtyBird38 got zero points from Cameron Brate. DirtyBird38 (4-5, 1,526.68 points) drops to seventh place, while McCafe (7-2, 1,769.09 points) remains in first place.

There was one starter on DirtyBird38 that failed to capitalize on opportunites. Despite being targeted nine times, D.J. Chark could manage just four catches.

McCafe was on point with their signal-callers, as they started two of the league's top-10 overall QBs this week (including Wilson, who was best overall). Since Wilson was the top point-getter for McCafe, it means a different player has led the team in each of the last four weeks. With 41.67 points, Stefon Diggs paced the squad in Week 6, while Dalvin Cook (30.83 points) was tops in Week 7 and Christian McCaffrey (28.79 points) in Week 8.

McCafe goes up against Favre Dollar Footlong (7-2, 1,630.76) next week. DirtyBird38 gets last-place LAZYPANDUHH (1-8, 1,327.46).
